Must Haves for 2nd Trimester

1. Old Navy Tank Tops - These are a life saver for the wardrobe.  I have one in practically every color and wear them every day.  They are actually from the normal section.  Normal....makes me feel so much better and less of a huge whale.

2.  Sunscreen - I don't know about you, but I burn sooooo easily while pregnant.  However, I am making the switch to lotion SPF because I am apparently an idiot when it comes to spraying.  So far my zebra burns are not looking so great.

3. Orange Gatorade - This is my number one craving.  I dream about orange Gatorade.  I wake up thinking about orange Gatorade.  I keep our fridge stalked of the good stuff.  I just can't get enough.  Luckily my students figured out that bringing me a bottle of orange gold was the quickest way to suck up to me!!

4. Slushi Machine - Quite the life saver for both a 4 year old and a pregnant mama during these hot summer days.

5. Mahjong - Yes, I am an 80 year old women at heart and love to play Mahjong.  It let's me zone out on those nights (aka, 6 or 7pm in the evening) that I just can't get comfortable.  Don't worry, I was totally addicted to this super awesome game in college too.  I was really cool.

6. Bio Oil - I bought a small little bottle of this not knowing if I would like it.  I freaking LOVE it.  I put it on twice a day on the huge bump and lower back.  I also put it on my zebra sun burns since I am an idiot with spray sunscreen.  Works like a charm.

7. Body Butter - I am loving the smell of coconut.  Non-pregnant, I can't stand lotions that are too fruity or flowery.  But this one smells like a dream to me.  I lather it on all over twice a day and I smell like a walking pina colada.  Perhaps that is the appeal.

8. Wedge Pillow - My belly sits low and out.  (Feel like that should be a rap song.)  And it is a necessity that I wedge a pillow underneath at night.  Right now the pillow count is to 5.  Poor gator guy just knows to not even question my pillow madness.

9. Target - ummm....do I need to say anything more???

10. To Do Lists - I freaking forget everything.  Seriously everything.  So I have to make a to-do list each day.  Yes, I will even put "Take a Shower" as it is one of those things that just doesn't get done very often in the summer.

Top Gifts for this Thirty Year Old

Thanks to my family and friends, I am blessed with these Must Have gifts for a 30 year old.

1.  Cowboy Boots - Now I am not just a girl who rides a mechanical bull, but also one with super cute boots!!

2.  Nano - I LOVE music.  Love love love.  My Jams seriously complete my day.  And so my original Nano was slowly dying after 5 years of daily use.  Now I can rock it out to this tiny nano.

3.  Yoga Mat - A new yoga mat makes yoga practice just that much better.

4.  Super cute Orange Watch - Sorry Elle Woods, but Orange IS the new pink!

5.  Super soft zip up - perfect to wear while running, to yoga, or just around.

6.  Inspirational bracelet - from goodworksmakeadifference.com.  Loving this!!!

7.  Super cute cardigan.  Perfect for the future teacher to wear!

8.  Tim Tebow Book - Yes, you will all be shocked....I actually did not own this book yet.  HOWEVER....this one is in the works to get signed!!  Gator Guy and Mr. T are the best!!!  I just hope that Timmy signs it with his digits so we can hang out asap.

9.  Beer of the Month Club - What more could a girl ask for than some micro brew delivered straight to our house!!!   (Thanks Dree!!)

10.  Bronco Tickets - Ok, I'm the jerk that completely forgot to include my Bronco tickets on this post originally.    So a BIG thank you to Dree and my Bestie for your very generous gift.  You clearly know the way to my heart  ;)  But really, the game was the perfect way to conclude my bday week!!

Must Haves: For the Sick Toddler

1.  Vicks Vapor Humidifier - Gator Guy picked this one up at Walmart yesterday and it is a life savor!!  The humidifier works great and adds the vicks vapor in the air.  Its pretty cheap too, so I definitely recommend this one.

2.  Popsicles - Nothing soothes a sore throat better!

3.  Big Boy Cups - Mr. T was not excited about drinking liquids, but once we let him drink from a big boy water bottle or cup...he was on track to hydration!

4.  Children's Ibuprofen - Definitely a must have to keep that fever down!!   Now I just wish they had cough drops or medicine for a two year old.

5.  Pancakes - Ok, we tried everything.  Jell-o, pudding, soup, smoothie....just about anything that we could think of to get Mr. T to eat.  But then he finally asked for pancakes...so why the hell not!

6.  Towel as a Pillow - When I was little, my mom would put a towel over my pillow and tell me that it would make me feel better.  I am sure it was to help with all the drooling, snot, and possible vomit.  Now a days, I use this tip even when suffering from the Irish Flu and thought Mr. T should give it a try.

7.  Mickey Mouse Playhouse - When I am sick, I watch "Friends" and classic chick flicks like "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" and "Can't Buy Me Love".  When Mr. T is sick....it's ALL about Mickey.  All  Mickey...ALL day long.

Snapshots on Shutterfly

Its time to get together the annual family Christmas card.  And my dearest e just shared a great deal with Shutterfly - 50 free holiday cards (Sweet!!).  You can check it out here.  There are so many choices, I just don't know which one I will pick yet.  But there are plenty of choices of flat holiday photo cards, folded holiday greeting cards, and so much more!

It's pretty obviously that I love taking lots and lots of pictures.  So I wouldn't be surprised if we pick out one of the layouts with multiple pics.
But then again, I also love the simplicity of these with just one picture.
I also think some of these brown selections will look great with my two brown-eyed boys.
You can also pick out matching address labels here.
I also love this calendar.  Would be perfect for Grandma's kitchen or Daddy's desk!  Because pictures of the little one never get old!!!

Decisions, Decisions.

Beverly Hills 9.02.10

Can you believe it???  Today is 9/02/10.  So in honor of the greatest show EVER, join me in a chant:

Donna Martin Graduates!!  Donna Martin Graduates!!
And yes, I am currently wearing this Must-Have shirt that I oh-so-love.

What was so great about 90210??  Let's review:

1.  Dylan, Brandon, and David - Seriously, those dimples.  That hair.  Those dance moves.  All so dreamy.  I would have to say that if the McAwesome names started back in the 90's, McKay would have been the first McDreamy (Hmmm, or is he McSteamy?  And Brandon is McDreamy? Its just too close to call.)  Either way, at the time...they were all McMmmmm

2.  The Peach Pit - Whether it was the cool 50's hang out or the hopping night club, how bad did you want to be at the Pit?  Because I sure did.  I wanted the Pit just around the corner from our school.

3.  Brenda, Donna, & Kelly - The original gals were FABulous.  I'm sure each and every one of us didn't like one of them, loved to be the other, but really acted like the last one.  For me, Hated Brenda....wanted to be Kelly....but was probably more on the dorky side of Donna  (hence the shirt!).

4.  The Romance - These couples were the real Power Couples of Hollywood.  Every week, we just had to tune in and see which couple was going to make it or break it.  Who was your favorite 90210 couple? I think I loved Brandon & Kelly the best!

5.  The Newbies - It was quite the adjustment for most of us Save by the Bell lovers to see Kelly Kapowski come on over and play the bad girl - Valerie.  But over time, I really liked her.  And poor Dylan's fiance, will always be Noxzema girl. Who was your favorite Newbie??

6.  The Lame Ones - We can't talk about a hit without the ones we didn't like.  Seriously Spelling, you could have written this hit with out these guys:

So yes....Ten years of awesomeness.  A decade of drama, romance, and just the best TV viewing years we have all probably known.  I mean, I know it was a hard choice to stick with the classic 90210 when Dawson's Creek happened to air on the same night and the same time.  But I always held true to the original Hills.  Beverly Hills.  9-0-2-1-0 Baby!
