The ESPYs - And Damn did I look good in that Red Dress!

Last night was the ESPYs.  (FYI, the ESPYs are like the Oscars, but for sports.)  And it looks like everyone got their invitation to the shin dig.  I mean seriously....How good did I look in the red dress next to my Timmy.  We make quite the couple...don't ya think??    ;)

And check out all the others that made it to the red carpet looking all fabulous!  Quite the event!

Great show...but more than anything, we MUST talk about Serena.  Seriously what was she wearing?  And is that seriously her Boo-tay??  Talk about Baby Got Back.

One Week Until the I Do's

Anyone else a little excited about the big Will & Kate wedding next Friday?!?  Because I sure am.  Especially after watching the William & Kate movie on Lifetime.  Yes, it was fabulous and I loved every minute of it.

And their little story truly is a fairy tale, one that I am Oh-So-Excited to watch.  I mean, do you remember the footage of Princess Diana's wedding??  It was fabulous.  So I can't even imagine what next Friday will hold.
So...
Will I set my alarm at 2AM to watch the gig?  Negative.  We all know it will be on tube nonstop, but that doesn't mean it won't be the first thing I check out when I wake up.

Will I start to sport stylish memorabilia such as this?  Oh hells no. But secretly I do want the little tea cup of William.

Will I now some day find an excuse to wear a hat such as these??  Why Y-E-S

Confessions of the Week

1.  You know what I am so sick of??  The group date - especially the ones where they all film some stupid scenes, have a "party" on top of a building with a pool, too much booze, and lots of crying.  Come on ABC, try something different.  PS....do these girls ever get to listen to music?  These parties are lame without a Katastic playlist!

2.  I could marry Emily myself.  Seriously that girl is perfect.  Her story is so heart touching and she is just so darn caring.  I will NOT ruin this season with anything Reality Steve, but I am hoping this gal makes it all the way.

3.  Modern Family just gets better and better.  I freaking love this show.  This week's episode of the kids walking in on their parents was to die for.

4.  I watched Off the Map this week and I think it is going to be added to the DVR list.  Anyone else?

5.  I just watched the Tebow Special...again, while having the house to myself tonight.  Thanks ESPN for replaying it JUST for ME.

6.  I was so bitter at Gator Guy for drinking my extra bitter IPA.  But he just made my night by taking time out of the hockey game to text me that my beloved IPA is in the basement.  Love you Gator Guy.  Love love love you IPA (and your 9% alcohol).  "Not your typical statistic, are ya?"  That's what the guy at the liquor store said to me when I quizzed him on what his favorite IPA is.

7.  I loved the dresses at the Golden Globes this year.  Mostly because I think I need an excuse to dress like a princess.  But I think it's a new trend to step it up and make it more of a glam event.

8.  Some of the dresses were just Oh-So-Bad.  These celebrities know that everyone is judging.  Do they really look in the mirror and think, damn I look good.  I am SO making the best dressed list.

9.  I cried (twice) in the last two episodes of How I Met Your Mother.  Way to bring the waterworks.  Even though this is a show that normally makes me laugh, Marshall's dad just passed away and Its a huge tearjerker.

10. Listening to the tennis grunts at the Australian open makes me uncomfortable.  I pop on the Open, get on my computer, don't pay attention, and then feel awkward that I am suddenly watching something inappropriate.  I get that it can be intense, but why aren't other athletes grunting and Ohhing out on the field.  Does it happen with the hail mary?  What about while dunking on the court?  Or hitting a home run.  Just not hearing it....so why with tennis?!?

ZZ Top Said it Best

She's Got Legs and She Knows How to Use Them.

Seriously, did anyone watch the County Music Festival last night??
Because I am officially jealous.  Jealous of Carrie Underwood and her legs.

I mean...what is her work out plan?  Aside from glossing them up and keeping a nice tan, she has got to work pretty hard to keep looking this good.

So move on over Tina Turner....

Carrie is rockin the Legs in the country world.

Miley Can't Be Tamed

I'm not a huge Miley Fan.  But since my nieces introduced me to her years ago, I have always pictured her like this:

And so I was shocked to see this video on VH1 as I got ready for the day:

Wow Britney Miley.  Quite the change in this video.  (shhh.....I kind of like it)

Oh My Jacob...

What do you wear to a midnight showing
of the latest Twilight film, Eclipse??
This:

That's right.  I really did join all the HITs (Hiiiii, I'm Twelve) complete with my I Heart Jacob shirt and a smile on my face.  Don't worry....I wasn't alone... My Dearest A was by my side sporting her I Love Edward gear.

And we were joined by 1000s of other Twihards all ready to cheer, laugh, cry, gasp, and squeal at each and every moment of the Vampalicious Flick.

So was the wait surrounded by estrogen, 3 hours of sleep, and a drowsy work day all worth it???  Y-E-S!!
And here's why:

1.  The Eye Candy -

2.  Beautiful Bella - She not only puts on some mascara and brushes her hair...but she has a personality!  A sassy, sexy, fun personality that made it all make sense why the heck these two heart throbs are falling for her.

3.  ACTION ACTION ACTION.  They were not kidding that this film had the bigger budget to show off the true speed and power of these vamps and wolves.

4.  The spin offs - You know...the kind that Michael Douglas is now getting his pockets emptied for because his greedy-of-an-ex-wife just wants it all.   The back stories of the other vamps and wolves was great to see and gave more depth to why we love them.

5.  The Romance - Wow, there are definitely some hot scenes in this one.  I personally loved the kiss & make up between Jasper and Alice after they demonstrate what the newborns can do.  Here's just a little teaser:

So whether you are Team Jacob, Team Edward, or just a TwiHard at heart...I hope you all enjoy the newest as much as I did!
